Detroit Plant Mom LLC wants you to feel good about what you receive. Because many of our items are custom, seasonal, wearable, fragile, or living products, we do not accept general returns.
Return Policy
All sales are final except in cases where an item arrives damaged or you receive the incorrect item.
We do not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, incorrect size selection, change of mind, delayed carrier delivery, or items that have been used, worn, washed, altered, or damaged after delivery.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 5 days of delivery at contact@detroitplantmom.com.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the item
- Clear photos of the packaging and shipping label
We will review the issue and, if approved, provide the next steps for a refund or resolution.
Non-Returnable / Final Sale Items
The following items are final sale and cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or incorrect:
- Custom or personalized items
- Sale or clearance items
- Gift cards
- Live plants
- Used, worn, washed, or altered items
- Items damaged after delivery or due to improper care, handling, or storage
Live Plants
Live plants are final sale unless they arrive damaged or you receive the incorrect plant.
Because plants are living items, Detroit Plant Mom LLC is not responsible for plant decline caused by weather after delivery, missed delivery attempts, delayed unpacking, improper care, overwatering, underwatering, unsuitable light, temperature exposure, pests introduced after delivery, or other conditions outside our control.
If there is an issue with a live plant upon arrival, contact us within 5 days of delivery with photos of the plant, packaging, and shipping label.
Refunds
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method when possible. Please allow time for your bank, card issuer, or payment provider to process the refund after it has been issued.
Detroit Plant Mom LLC does not offer exchanges at this time. Refunds only are available for approved damaged or incorrect item claims.
Return Shipping
If a return is approved and required, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless Detroit Plant Mom LLC made an error or the item arrived damaged.
Shipping costs are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or unless the issue was caused by Detroit Plant Mom LLC.
